1.  Szeroko rozumiane zagadnienia modelowania konstytutywnego metali, kompozytów ze zbrojeniem, murów, elastomerów i materiałów drogowych w zakresie ich właściwości sprężystych, lepkich i plastycznych. Wszystkie z wypracowanych zagadnień szczegółowych łączą zaproponowane modele konstytutywne z ich praktyczną weryfikacją doświadczalną i implementacją numeryczną w ramach programów MES; 
2.  Weryfikacja i analiza sformułowań zagadnień inżynierskich w ramach mechaniki ośrodków ciągłych i teorii dowolnych deformacji (w tym zagadnienia hipersprężystości, lepko-hipersprężystości i hipersprężysto-plastyczności);
3.  Odporność na wyboczenie cienkościennych elementów stalowych analizowanych w ramach teorii hipersprężystoplastyczności;
4.  Mechanika nawierzchni drogowych- zagadnienia związane z uwzględnieniem zmęczenia materiałów;
5.  Modelowanie konstytutywne i badania reometryczne lepiszczy asfaltowych z uwzględnieniem teorii dużych deformacji i zmiennej temperatury;

1. Broadly understood issues of constitutive modeling of metals, composites with reinforcement, masonry, elastomers and road materials in terms of their elastic, viscous and plastic properties. All of the developed detailed issues combine the proposed constitutive models with their practical experimental verification and numerical implementation under FEM programs;
2. Verification and analysis of formulations of engineering problems in the framework of continuum mechanics and the theory of large deformations (including the problems of hyperelasticity, visco-hyperelasticity and hyperelasto-plasticity);
3. Buckling resistance of thin-walled steel elements analyzed within the theory of hyperelasto-plasticity;
4. Mechanics of road pavements - issues related to material fatigue;

Synthesis and research on rheological properties of electrheological materials (liquids, gels and elastomers)

Research on the possibility of partially replacing bitumen (asphalt) with plant-derived materials, incorporating a multi-criteria compatibility analysis. A comprehensive description of the chemical, structural, and rheological properties of bio-modified bitumen (asphalt). Investigation of the interactions between bio-materials and bitumen (asphalt). Issues related to the durability and ageing resistance of the bituminous materials. Determination of compatibility principles and identification of optimal bitumen (asphalt) substitution levels. Development of durable and low-emission binders for road infrastructure.
