Optimizing spatial analysis using geospatial data cyberinfrastructure
The proposed research aims to search for optimal structures of geospatial databases and other geoinformatics solutions to increase the efficiency and scale of spatial analysis. Cyberinfrastructure of geospatial data is an advanced cloud computing infrastructure consisting of hardware, software, and spatial big data, enabling complex processing of large, multi-model, and model-free data referenced to geographic space. Tasks to achieve optimization, in particular, may involve:
• testing the efficiency of using different data structures.
• exploring or improving data models.
• harmonizing data.
• applying parallel processing methods.
• applying artificial intelligence methods,
• designing system linkages and relations between different IT and geoinformatics software components.
