The works carried out are research and expert activities. The numerous cooperating entities include leading research centers in Europe, i.e. Culham Center for Fusion Energy (GB), Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik or RWTH Aachen University (DE), as well as industrial partners: THALES Alenia Space (FR) or ZTW - EXPLOMET Sp. J. The research topics include: analysis of the degradation of materials working in fusion reactors, studies of the microstructure of metallic, ceramic and semiconductor materials, synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric and semiconductor materials, production and characterization of composite materials, and degradation of materials in a hydrogen environment. | Materials Engineering |
