Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) allow for the determination of point positions with a high accuracy (millimeter level) on the basis of measured distances to satellites. Since 25 years GNSS has been used to fulfill the basic needs of satellite geodesy, e.g., realization of terrestrial reference frames, analysis of tectonic movements and deformations of the Earth’s surface.
The topics of the research concerns analysis of GNSS observations in permanent networks and analysis of GNSS solutions. In particular the research area involves the realization of regional reference frames, analysis of stations velocities for geodynamics, analysis and interpretation of GNSS station position time series.
