| 1 | Solid rocket propellants. The research includes the synthesis of new components of these propellants, giving them an appropriate usable form, e.g. by crystallization or granulation. Also physicochemical tests of these components and mixtures, and the formation of propellants based on these materials were carried out. The research includes such materials as: high-energy compounds mainly from the group of cage nitramines (including 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexazaizowurtzitane (CL-20), 4,10-dinitro-2,6,8,12-tetraoxa-4,10-diazaizowurtzitane (TEX)), new effective and ecological oxidants (e.g. ammonium dinitramide (ADN), hydrazinium nitroformate (HNF)), energetic binders and plasticizers based on oxetanes and oxiranes. Additionally the research on the preparation of energetic thermoplastic elastomers (ETPE) based on these energetic monomers and polymers based on nitrocyclodextrins (CDN) were conducted. | Chemical Engineering |
