Poland has a rich collection of photogrammetric archival aerial photos taken with specialized film cameras. Modern methods of digital photogrammetry offer new possibilities for the measurement study of such photos. However, it encounters problems related to the lack of camera calibration certificates, the lack of a photogrammetric field network, deformation of the film base, etc. On the other hand, such photos are an invaluable source of data showing the dynamics of land cover changes or processes taking place in the natural environment. The proposed scope of research would take the issue of developing of large-format, archival aerial photos with the use of modern methods of digital photogrammetry
