The research topic involves design of luminescent compounds with a special emphasis on systems that exhibit Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF). The research will mainly devoted to using novel heterocyclic organoboron cores, featuring strongly electron-acceptor properties, as key building blocks. The obtained compounds will be comprehensively characterized which includes determination of their important photophysical parameters. Also, the use of obtained systems as emitters in Organic Luminscent Diodes (OLED) is planned.
